Connection for Every Age

Evergreen's Youth meets on Wednesdays and Sundays for fellowship and discipleship, to explore who God is and how he impacts our lives daily. Our community is full of opportunity, comfort, and blessings. Our goal is to abide in faith, hope, and love, the greatest of these being our love for one another (1 Corinthians 13:13).

Jonathan Goolsbee is our Director of Youth & College Ministry. You are welcome to reach out to Jonathan directly by emailing him at jonathan@evergreenchurchga.org or by calling him at (404) 558-1130. Follow our Youth Instagram account by clicking the button below!

  • We offer Middle School Sunday School during first and second service for 4th grade to 8th grade, and Wednesday night Bible study and fellowship for students from 6th grade to 8th grade.

  • We have a weekly high school Bible study that meets around Peachtree City on Sunday evenings.

  • During shorter holidays, we offer dinner and a Bible study sporadically while students are home. During the summer, college students are invited to our Summer Night Series at the church.

Upcoming Youth Events

Hang tight while we look up scheduled events...

is a missions event wherein local youth groups and churches join with Square Foot Ministry to build homes in downtown Griffin. It takes place for three days during the summer. We kick off each morning with breakfast and devotional as a group. During the day, students will work along side other churches, framing these homes under the supervision of contractors and adults. Each day, we break for lunch (provided) and wrap up work around 4 p.m., then head back to PTC. The cost to attend is a $25 donation, which covers your shirt and meals. Youth can participate all three days or come and go as needed.

The Great Escape

The Great Escape is a summer conference experience that takes place in Florida, Tennessee, Colorado, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, and Mississippi. Because so many of the individuals who plan The Great Escape are also full-time youth leaders, they know that the number one goal for a summer conference is for students to hear the message of Jesus. Each week is packed full of recreation and activities as well as dynamic speakers, musicians, and other artists who understand how to communicate in real and relatable ways with young people. This year we'll be at Southwind in Florida from July 26th-30th. The cost is $445 and includes meals lodging and transportation.

Summer Nights

This summer, Youth will meet weekly for Wednesday Summer Nights from 7:30 to 9 p.m. from June 23rd to July 21st. If you are looking for opportunities for your children to reconnect and plug in with the community, we invite you to join us. We'll have Family Nights of Worship, service opportunities, a movie on the lawn, and some good ol' summer fun together.
