THRIVE KIDS

On Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights we offer an engaging and safe environment where THRIVE Kids can learn and grown in their faith in Jesus Christ. All gatherings are led by trained adults and student volunteers from our church congregation. If you have questions please contact Interim Children’s Director Katie Ray.

Christ-Centred Childcare

We provide warm, Christ-Centered childcare, learning, and discussion for the children of Evergreen Church from infancy to 5th grade. We believe in teaching the love and presence of Christ to our THRIVE Kids so that they can become examples of it.

What to Expect

Every Sunday morning we provide a safe environment for kids from birth through fifth grade where they can learn about Jesus and connect with each other.

Discipleship begins at the earliest stages of life so it is our belief, as a Bible teaching church, that we began as early as possible teaching our children about their Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Our volunteers are committed to providing a safe and fun ministry environment for our kids where they can grow in that understanding of who they are in Jesus Christ.
How should I prepare my kids?

Each Sunday, you will need to check your child into our Thrive Kids Ministry. Parents will be asked to check-in on the computer and print out a name tag. A Guardian Tag will be given or printed for parents to present at check-out. This will include your child’s name as well as information regarding specific allergies. From there, you will walk them to their age-specific classroom. When you return at the end of service you will check-out your child by signing them out or checking them out on the computer, and then handing the Guardian Tag to the teacher.

Evergreen Youth

Evergreen’s Youth meets on Wednesdays and Sundays for fellowship and discipleship, to explore who God is and how he impacts our lives daily. Our community is full of opportunity, comfort, and blessings. Our goal is to abide in faith, hope, and love, the greatest of these being our love for one another (1 Corinthians 13:13).

Missional Communities
Missional Communities are “Vibrant Families on Mission.” About the size of an extended family, Missional Communities are the place where we grow as disciples together while answering the call to make disciples. In Missional Communities, we do life together, worship God, and go out with the purpose of loving our neighbors. We would love to have you come and see what Missional Communities are all about!

9:30 AM Resolving Every Day Conflict

Our new adult Bible study “Resolving Every Day Conflict” meets before second service upstairs at 9:30 AM.

10:45 AM Gimme a Hug: Wrapping Our Arms Around the Old Testament

This adult Bible study begins after first service upstairs in the Adult Education Room at 10:45 AM. It is facilitated by Dwight and Terri Hartman.

11:00 AM Maturing Together
