DNOW
“DNow” stands for Disciple Now. DNow is a weekend-long retreat for middle school and high school students during which they stay at the homes of church members in small groups. During Disciple Now, students will fellowship, worship, and serve together. They will be led in small group discussion at their host homes by our volunteers and college leaders. They have 3 large group worship sessions, each at New Hope North, where they gather with over 1000 other students from around the county. It is a great opportunity for them to grow in Christ and build relationships with other students and members within their church community.
Students will do two nights in host homes, Friday and Saturday. Students will begin the weekend meeting at their host homes Friday, March 24th at 6pm, and conclude Sunday morning after worship, March 26th.
“Host Homes” are a key feature of DNow weekends. A host home is where a family in the church agrees to host a Small Group for the weekend. Our host homes are divided by age and gender. This is where our students will engage each other in discussion facilitated by their leaders for the weekend.
Cost is $65 per student, but I never want a student excluded by cost so let me know if I can help in any way or if you’d like to sponsor someone, and please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions!
